Snow-sure on Mosetertoppen

Mosetertoppen is 820 meters above sea level, and the altitude provides stable snow conditions throughout the winter. This makes Mosetertoppen, Hafjell a safe choice for Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The days are short at Christmas, but the floodlit trail at Mosetertoppen means that you can go skiing even after dark.

Ski rental in the same building

At Sport1 at Mosetertoppen Ski Stadium you rent skis and equipment without moving the car. From the apartment you go straight to the rental - and from there straight out on the slopes.

Where is Hafjell Ski Resort located?

Hafjell Ski Resort is located on Mosetertoppen in Hafjell. It is approx. 25 minutes to Lillehammer and two hours from Oslo. Look in Google Maps.

Is there snow on Mosetertoppen at Christmas?

Mosetertoppen is 820 meters above sea level and normally has good snow conditions during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Can I rent skis at Mosetertoppen?

Yes. Sport1 is located in the same building as the apartments and has ski rental. During the holiday season, we recommend booking equipment in advance.

Are the shop and restaurant open during Christmas?

Yes; supermarket, restaurant and sports shop are open during Christmas.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 15:00, and check-out is before 11:00

Where do we park?

You can park in the underground car park at Mosetertoppen Ski Stadium, or in the car park outside Mosetertoppen Ski Stadium for a fee.

The heated parking basement has an electric car charger and elevator right up in the buildings. The first 40 minutes in the parking basement are free.
